Once upon a time, on a sunny autumn afternoon, two sisters visited a health store down the road to get some ethically sourced and relatively 'healthy' chocolate. The packaging looked great, the flavour sounded yum, the ingredients were simple and ethically sourced, it seemed to tick all the boxes....but then we had a bite and .... it didn't tick the tasty box!

From this tumultuous time, Gourmet and Green was born. We knew there was such a thing as ethical and tasty, and we wanted to make that accessible to everyone!

So we set out on a journey to try all the chocolates, we worked hard, day and night tasting chocolate, trying to save the planet one block at a time. Today at Gourmet and Green, fondly now referred to as Gigi, we present to you our research of the tastiest, ethically sourced, locally made, environmentally friendly, bean to bar chocolate, with wine and coffee to come!
